There are no surprises here, but Lionel Messi has scored once more for Inter Miami.
The World Cup winner is having a great time in the United States, scoring goals for fun since joining the MLS club.
And it only took him six and a half minutes to score again in his third outing for the club.
Messi made a dashing run towards the area during Inter Miami’s match against Orlando but was not tracked by the defense.
Robert Taylor, Messi’s teammate, then chipped the ball over the defensive line and found his number 10’s feet.
Messi kept his cool and controlled the ball with his chest before volleying past the goalie.
He then whirled away in celebration as the DRV PNK Stadium crowd in Miami roared.
To be fair to Messi, he swiftly turned around and pointed directly to Taylor, thanking him for spotting him with a wonderful ball.
Messi has already scored four goals in three games for Inter Miami.
Fans went crazy when Sportscenter shared a video of the goal to Twitter.
One person commented: “This is like a grown man playing with a bunch of 10 year olds.”
While another added: “Messi is the GOAT! “
Then, of course, one user had to ask: “Was Ronaldo ever this good?”
Everyone knew the 36-year-old was going to smash it on American shores – and he’s certainly doing just that.
